Skin tags are  small skin growth protrude from skin. They can grow on any part of the body but more often grow on areas which have restricted movement.  Normally they are not contagious or painful. Most people are troubled by it’s unsightly appearance.

      The procedure varies depending on the mole’s size and location, but moles and larger lesions such as cysts are usually removed by scalpel then stitched and covered with a dressing.

    • How are warts removed?

      We usually remove warts by precision laser to destroy the wart tissue.

    • What about skin tags?

      We treat these bits of soft skin with electric cauterisation using an electrode tip to burn them away.

    • How long does the treatment take?

      This varies depending on the skin blemish you’re having treated and its size and location. Plan to be with us for around 45 minutes to make sure there’s plenty of time for your consultation.

    • Does it hurt?

      We use local anaesthetic to keep you as comfortable as possible throughout the procedure.
