    • What is sublative face rejuvenation?

      This cutting-edge treatment uses bi-polar radio frequency to deliver energy to the skin’s deeper layers without troubling the epidermis (the upper layer of skin). We use a handheld applicator (part of elōs Plus technology from Syneron Candela) with multi-electrode pins to deliver the energy in a fractional way that ablates the skin’s surface with heat. Areas that are not ablated act like a reservoir for cells to encourage healing and the production of more collagen.

      As collagen levels are boosted, skin looks refreshed and rejuvenated. Depending on the area targeted, fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation and large pores should all be reduced. Over time, skin should feel tighter, firmer and lifted.*

    • How long should results last?

      Results build over time as collagen develops. It varies from one person to the next but results last for around 12 months. You’ll need several treatments (usually 3 to 5) and top-up treatments can help maintain results. We’ll talk through all of this in detail during your consultation.*

    • How long does the treatment take?

      Plan to be with us for around 90 minutes as this will give us lots time for a thorough consultation.

    • Does it hurt?

      You may feel some discomfort and a warm, prickly sensation.

    • How do I care for the area after treatment?

      Your face will feel tender and sensitive immediately after the treatment. Avoid wearing make-up until any redness has disappeared.

    • Is sublative face rejuvenation safe?

      This is a safe procedure that is gentler than some other alternative treatments. There is a very small risk of scarring and infection.*
