In general, you should keep hydrated throughout the day, be extra vigilant about sun protection and avoid disturbing wounds as they heal, otherwise run the risk of poor results, infection and scarring. Below you’ll find some quick aftercare tips for just a few of our most popular treatments.
Wrinkle Relaxing Injections & Dermal Fillers
As mentioned above, these types of treatments are generally used for anti-ageing purposes, and so a strong skincare regime is advised to ensure that you don’t make the same mistakes and usher in new wrinkles and lines. Always protect your skin from the sun with an SPF of at least 15. Other than that, don’t rub or massage the treated area for 24 hours, try to avoid make up for at least 12 hours, and avoid extreme temperatures to allow for redness and swelling to go down.
Laser Hair Removal
While your results will be different from other patients, it’s important to avoid any abrasive skin cleaners of exfoliators for a few days post-treatment. You are likely to experience redness and swelling for the first few hours, and so we advise limiting your sun exposure and wearing an SPF of at least 30 to protect your skin while this subsides.
Skin Peels
Your skin will appear red and flushed at first, but there should be no need to take time off work. Just be sure to protect your delicate skin while it heals with an SPF of at least 30, and avoid applying any make up for a minimum of 24 hours.
