PRP Face Rejuvenation

    • How does PRP treatment work?

      The platelets work by beginning repair and attracting stem cells, stimulating and accelerating natural healing and rejuvenation.

    • Is the treatment painful.

      Withdrawing the blood may be painful for some.

      We do apply numbing cream to the treatment area for 15-20 minutes. You may feel some burning during treatment. The treatment  area may feel uncomfortable for 3-4 days. Bruising may also occur, usually for 4-5 days, after treatment.

    • How many treatments are needed?

      Studies show that you will initially need 3-4 treatments , one every 3-4 weeks. Then one maintenance treatment every 9 months.

    • What happens during my treatment?

      We  withdraw a  small amount of your blood, put the sample in a ‘Centrifuge’  which spins the blood and separates it into a ‘Red’ part which has all the red part of the bloods and the ‘Yellow’ part   which is the platelet rich plasma (PRP). PRP is rich in  platelets and their associated growth factors.

      The PRP is then injected the into the area (clean and prepared) that needs to be treated.

    • Who is this treatment suitable for?

      Anyone aged 18 and over. It is particularly popular with people who do not want any other injectable treatments

    • Can it be combined with any other treatment like dermal fillers?

      Yes it works fine with dermal fillers. In-fact it can be combined with any other treatment as it gives synergistic benefits .
