Hair removal can be a real chore that takes up far too much time and energy. Painless Laser Hair Removal with elōs Plus from Syneron Candela is an innovative and pain-free way to remove unwanted hair permanently over the course of a few treatments.* Unlike many other laser hair-removal systems, it’s suitable for all skin and hair types and can be used for legs, underarms, backs, chest and face.

The procedure works by delivering intense but gentle bursts of energy through a hand-piece to the treatment area. These laser pulses safely destroy hair follicles at the root during the anagen (hair growth) stage. Patented Dynamic Cooling Device™ of our elos system helps to keep you comfortable throughout the treatment and there’s no downtime at all. Patients at our clinic have received amazing results with the treatment. Ideally, you will need more than one session with gap of around 4 -6 weeks between two sessions.

    • What is Painless Laser Hair Removal?

      This advanced treatment with elōs Plus from Syneron Candela is an extremely a painless way to remove unwanted hair permanently over time. It uses therapeutic heat to safely destroy hair follicles at the root during the anagen (hair growth) stage. Once the follicles are destroyed, the hair cannot grow back.

      Hair grows in 3 stages. Hair in the catagen (transitional) and telogen (shedding) stages will not be treated, which is why it takes a course of treatments to catch all hairs during their anagen stage.

    • Do I need to prepare for the treatment?

      Avoid plucking, waxing or electrolysis for 6 weeks before your first treatment. It’s important to shave and thoroughly cleanse the treatment area on the day you’re having Gentle Laser Hair Removal.

    • How long does the treatment take?

      Gentle Laser Hair Removal is an extremely quick procedure – both legs can be treated in as little as 15 minutes. Timing does depend on the treatment area and we’ll talk through this during your consultation.

    • How many treatments will I need?

      Hair grows in different stages and the hairs on your body or face are not always at the same stage. Gentle Laser Hair Removal destroys hair follicles during hair’s anagen (growth) stage, so a course of treatments should eventually catch all hairs at the anagen stage.*

      We’ll talk through this during your consultation but most of our clients need at least X treatments.

    • Does it hurt?

      This is a very gentle procedure and the technology’s Dynamic Cooling Device™ should keep you comfortable throughout.* We can apply a cool compress or gel pack after the treatment.

    • How do I care for the area after treatment?

      Any redness or swelling should subside within a few hours but it’s important to avoid exposure to the sun and wear an SPF of 30+.In the first few days after treatment, avoid any abrasive skin cleansers or exfoliators.*
