Juvederm® VOLITE

Subtle yet effective anti-ageing treatment

All About Juvederm® VOLITE

First and foremost, it needs to be noted that Juvederm® Volite is absolutely NOT a dermal filler. While it is indeed a type of injectable treatment, it is a new hyaluronic acid gel treatment that nourishes from within to improve your overall skin quality.

The solution is injected into the middle layers of the dermis, suitable for treating the neck, face, décolletage and hands for all skin types. The result is skin that is smoother and hydrated, with a boost in elasticity for an overall more youthful appearance. The way in which this is achieved is due to the fact that Hyaluronic Acid possesses a high water-binding capacity and is an effective stimulant for the production of collagen.

Juvederm® VOLITE can be used in younger age groups to improve and brighten the skin, and in older age groups with dry skin, leathery skin, or simply for optimising skin texture. We have also seen an improvement in acne scarring.

Frequently Asked Questions

by our clinic in South East London
    • What Is Juvederm Volite?

Juvederm Volite is an injectable hyaluronic acid gel rejuvenation treatment, administered into the dermis to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. By injecting into specific areas, the signs of ageing and hydration can be significantly improved.

    • How Long Should The Results Last?

Your results are not permanent, with repeat treatments usually required between  6-12 months in order to maintain them.

    • How Do I Care For The Treatment Area After Treatment?

While side effects like bruising and redness should subside within a few days, it is important not to agitate the treatment site further by avoiding wearing make up for at least 12 hours post-treatment. As well as this, exercise should be avoided for 2 days, alcohol consumption avoided for 12 hours, and extreme sun exposure, UV light, saunas and freezing temperatures avoided for at least 2 weeks.

    • How Long Does The Treatment Take?

Patients visiting our clinic for the first time should allow ample time for a thorough consultation, usually around 30 minutes, The duration of the procedure itself depends on the area being treated, but tends to last between 60 – 90 minutes.

    • Does It hurt?

At HA Clinic, we use a topical anaesthetic numbing cream to ensure that your treatment is as comfortable as possible, with most patients experiencing only a very slight discomfort.

    • Is Juvederm Volite Safe?

This is considered a very safe and effective treatment, with allergic reactions very few and far between.
